Clark Armstrong

Clark Armstrong was born and raised in London. He practices business and real estate law with Lerners LLP. Clark joined Operation Walk’s board of directors in 2018, and looks forward to attending one of Operation Walk’s missions abroad in the near future. He urges all Operation Walk supporters to attend this year’s fundraising concert on September 24, 2019 at Aeolian Hall!

Donna Bourne

Donna has been involved in Operation Walk Canada since its inception. Her roles have varied from logistics coordinator for the Ecuador Mission, blogger for both missions, cleaning instruments and anything else that needs to be done.

She has also had a number of volunteer roles for a variety of organizations. Such as Co-chair of volunteers for the 2001 Canada Summer Games, Chair of volunteers for the 2003 Ontario Summer and Winter Games, 2006 LPGA championships & the Canadian Men’s Golf Championships. She continues to be a strong supporter of the London Community Foundation after my role as Board Chairperson, specifically with the Back to the River project.

Most of all she enjoys times of golfing, skiing and cottaging with her children and grandchildren and especially her very supportive husband Bob

Dr Richard McCalden

Dr Richard McCalden is Professor of Surgery at Western University, London Health Sciences Centre, London, Ontario. His orthopaedic training was carried out at the University of Toronto, after which he completed two further years of arthroplasty fellowship, with one year in Toronto and the second year in Adelaide, Australia. Dr McCalden has been in practice in London since 1994, where he is now the Fellowship Director for the Adult Reconstruction Unit. Dr McCalden is a member of multiple orthopaedic associations including the North American Hip & Knee Societies and the International Hip Society. He has received two Charnley Hip Awards from the North American Hip Society, the Insall Award and the Coventry Award from the North American Knee Society, and the Carroll Laurin Award from the Canadian Orthopaedic Society. Dr McCalden has over a 100 published articles in peer-reviewed journals.

John Prueter

John is the Office Managing Partner for the London Windsor office of BDO Canada LLP. John holds the CPA, CA, MBA designations and has sat on many other charitable boards over the past years including the London Health Sciences Foundation, Westminster College, and Foundation Western. John joined the Operation Walk board in June 2017 and is the Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee.



Marcia Roberts

Marcia has worked in  financial services for 25 years, initially as a Tax manager at a National Accounting firm and now for National Bank financial as the Manager of Wealth Management. She holds her CPA,CA, and CFP designations and hassat on various charitable boards including Big Sisters of London, Thames Valley Children’s Centre and the Salvation Army Centre of Hope.



Anne Toal

Anne Toal is a retired actuary and senior executive of London Life. During her business career she held roles in marketing, strategic  planning, finance, business operations and compliance and was actively involved in many industry and professional organizations.  She has served on several boards in the London community, including as chair of the Parkwood Hospital Foundation and the McCormick Care Group.  She is currently on the board of Operation Walk and the Grand Theatre.

Anne has participated in several Operation Walk missions to Ecuador.



Janet Tufts

Janet has worked in non-profit management for over 25 years and is currently the Executive Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of London and Area. She recently spent two years in Malaysia as an education advisor and prior to this was the Executive Director of the Canadian Medical Hall of Fame. Janet holds a MBA, BEd and BA and has served on numerous local boards. She is excited about her two most recent volunteer commitments (Operation Walk and the Quality Committee of the St. Joseph’s Health Care London Board).

Justine Zavitz

Justine graduated with an Honours Commerce degree from McMaster University and continued on to earn her Financial Planning Services diploma from Fanshawe College. She decided to join the family business and became a full-time Advisor.

Justine has continued to grow her insurance & wealth knowledge by obtaining her Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation as well as her Registered Health Underwriter (RHU) designation, now called the Certified Health Insurance Specialist (CHS) and her Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation.

Justine is actively involved in her community. She is a Chair of the Ambassador’s Council with Children’s Health Foundation as well as a Board member. She is a member of the London Board of Operation Walk. She is frequently asked to speak at conferences within the financial industry, such as the Conference for Advanced Life Underwriters (CALU) and Advocis, The Financial Advisor’s Association of Canada.

In 2013, Justine was a recipient of London’s Top 20 Under 40 award.

In 2014, Justine was named as one of the Top 50 Women of Influence in Canada’s Life Insurance Industry in The Insurance & Investment Journal.

In 2018, Justine was named one of the Rising Stars of the industry.
